Title: Prayst: HolyPriest
Post by: Guest on December 18, 2017, 11:48:19 PM
Character's Name: Prayst
BTag: ayy#11363
Character's Level: 110
Class: Priest
Usual Spec: Holy
Normal Play Time:
5PM-1AM EST
Age: 23
Previous Guild: Fine Young Cannibals - Lightninghoof Horde
Reason you left previous guild:
I haven't played with them in a year(due to inactivity since Legion dropped) and wanted to ream switch to a more populated realm.

Tell us a bit about yourself:
I'm a 23 year old college graduate. I work as a flight instructor and I'm on my way to become a Delta pilot. I have played WoW since the release of WOTLK and played off and on since then. My raiding glory days would have to be in Cataclysm, where I was in a top 100 US guild during firelands and Dragon Soul. I've always played as a resto druid, but decided to switch it up and play priest. So far I am enjoying how well priests are doing this patch, but I can always switch to my old main if need be(he's also a 110 on ED).

Are you friends with anyone in Nightstalkers? If so, who and how do you know them?
No, just met Ahndisa through trade advertisements. Recently dinged 110, and have been gearing up/looking for a fun group to raid with to beat up some Antorus.

Why do you want to become a member of Nightstalkers?
I quit WoW to play League of Legends, and that has been getting very dry so I decided to come back to WoW. Looking for a fun group to raid with and enjoy some nostalgia of hardcore raiding.

Any alts we can contact you on? N/A

Our raid times are Tues, Thurs, and Sun from 7:00 - 11:00 server. Are you able to make ALL of our raid times, every week?
Yes

Do you forsee any issues in the near future with attendance? Vacation? Moving? Etc? No, I'll be going on vacation for xmas, but I'll be able to raid during the times listed.

Please take a moment to outline your rotation/priority. Be thorough and specific: Prayer of Mending on CD. For single target, Holy Word: Serenity on CD and Flash Heal as buffer(unless being mana conservative then Heal replaces Flash Heal). For AOE, Holy Word: Sanctify on CD and Prayer of Healing as required. Divine Hymn on CD during phases of intense healing unless specified to be used at a specific time. I really only use Renew during periods of time when there is a lot of movement required, otherwise I prioritize other spells.

By the way, holy priest is so much more zzz than resto druid.

What's the one misconception about your class that upsets you the most?
I am relatively new to the class, but as an ex resto druid main I used to always make fun of fellow priest healers for having it super easy(and I can confirm that healing as a priest is super easy).

Summary of your raid experience (go as far back as you can):
In WOTLK I raided ICC 10man in a non-hardcore environment. I did not kill Lich King Heroic before the release of Cataclysm, but we got pretty close. In Firelands, I raided in a top 100 guild environment. We pushed to heroic ragnaros really quick and got stuck on him for over 400 pulls(it was terrible). During Dragon Soul, same situation where we cleared the heroic version all the way up to Deathwing with relative ease, but we hit a roadblock. In both raids, we were top 100 US until reaching Ragnaros and Deathwing, where we couldn't seal the deal and ended up having people quit etc. due to burnout. In Mists of Pandaria, I had quit for the beginning of the expansion pack and joined the same guild I raided with in cata when the Mogushan Vaults raid came out. We got ahead of the curve lei shen in like the first or second week and progressed through halfway through mythic until our guild disbanded. It was disbanded all the way up until Siege of Orgrimmar dropped where we all came back and decided to try it out. We would always clear normal and heroic in the first and second week and then struggle through mythic during this xpac(that's why I said earlier my glory days were definitely during Cataclysm). After struggling in SOO mythic, we disbanded until Warlords of Draenor. We did extremely well in Highmaul, and after the group got burned out we stopped raiding until Hellfire Citadel. We cleared Heroic and then this is where I quit WoW and started playing League of Legends until a week ago.

Are you willing to respecc or sit out of a raid if a different class is needed? Yes of course

Are you willing to download a few raid specific addons? Yes

Are you able to be in Discord for raids (Mic and the ability to talk is required)? Yes

Please list your computer's specs. CPU speed, video card, RAM, Wireless/Wired?, Cable/DSL?, and average in-game latency.
I play WoW currently on a surface pro . It has a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6650U CPU @ 2.20 GHz 2.21 GHz Processor. It runs WoW fine, but I will be getting a desktop very soon. It normally runs around 60ish FPS and 42 MS.

Is your computer in good working order? Any current issues with it? Please make this answer detailed and specific.
Yes it runs perfect. I've only had it for a year and only used it for League of Legends. I used to play Wow on an older desktop, but she died a year and a half ago, and i'm working on getting a new one. I can't say enough how much I enjoy my surface pro though.

Are you easily offended by adult language and conversation? Hell no

Is there anything else you think we should know?
No bullshit, I think I'm a really good healer(it's the only thing i've ever raided as during WoW). The only thing that could possibly hold me back from competing as your best healer would be my IL(currently 923).
