Title: Juicedbox: Resto (OffSpec Boomy) Fuck Tanking. Play a bit of FeralDruid
Post by: Juicebox on January 02, 2018, 10:21:10 PM
Character's Name: Juicedbox
BTag: CynJuiceBox#1622
Character's Level: 110
Class: Druid
Usual Spec: Resto (OffSpec Boomy) Fuck Tanking. Play a bit of Feral
Normal Play Time:
A lot
Age: 23
Previous Guild: Nightstalkers and Evil Kittens
Reason you left previous guild:
I use to be a core raider in WOD on my priest Swayzz. I had to stop playing WoW/(all computer games) because college was to time consuming. Between raiding, playing a sport and going to class it became too overwhelming. Eventually I dropped everything I was doing and focused purely on School/Lacrosse.

Present day. I've played Legion for about a month and a half now and have a geared resto druid and my priest who is ALMOST ready (need 1 more week, at most 2)! My druid is in a Mythic progression guild on Area-52 Evil Kittens. Unfortunately, when I accepted the offer to Trial, I was not told that the guild leader was a Resto Druid. Although I have AOTC on both Druid and Priest. I am not given the option to progress in Mythic because they only need Range DPS. Really unfortunate for me but that's how the cards fall and they already know I am seeking a position on a full time Mythic Roster and approve of that.

Side note: I don't care about paying the xfer fee. No worries.

Tell us a bit about yourself:
I recently graduated college with a Business Management Degree (woohoo). I have been job searching and luckily have found some offers but nothing that I have accepted yet, as I am looking for something I really am interested in. I've made enough money streaming games to live off of for now and I hope to find a job which will fulfill my passion of marketing. I was a college athlete and now am looking for begin a successful career "in the real world." I think I've always demonstrated a good attitude towards progression and I ALWAYS do my research to put my best foot forward.

Are you friends with anyone in Nightstalkers? If so, who and how do you know them?
I'd like to think Def and I are on good terms. In fact I still use the program to sim that he gave me a couple years ago. I'm not sure who is still in core raid but I remember Selene, Bleedinggums, Amber (disc priest forget the actual name but something like that) and her husband who was an rdruid but forgot his in game name, Hoot and anyone else I forgot to mention!

Why do you want to become a member of Nightstalkers?
I want to find a mythic progression guild that actually has an opportunity for a Resto Druid with an alt Disc/Holy Priest to get in weekly runs. I don't mind doing Normal/Heroic runs but I REALLY want to be part of a core team that is trying to push Mythic.

Any alts we can contact you on? Swayzz (but both toons are on Area-52, I moved to a high pop server when I came back... no issue xfering toons!)

Our raid times are Tues, Thurs, and Sun from 7:00 - 11:00 server. Are you able to make ALL of our raid times, every week?
Of Course.

Do you forsee any issues in the near future with attendance? Vacation? Moving? Etc? I am on vacation the 9th through the 14th. I am going to LA (first time!) for my mother's birthday!

WoW Armory Link:

Link to a screenshot of your UI (during a raid, mid-fight preferred):

WarcraftLogs (or other log parse) link for a recent raid: N/A

Please take a moment to outline your rotation/priority. Be thorough and specific: 1 or 2 Rejuvs on those taking dmg, maintain Life Bloom on a Tank, Cenarion ward the Tank, Wild growth if 4+ take dmg, (always use Omen Proc), Keep Efflorescence in a good position. Swiftmend for a quick single target heal!

Flourish/ G'hanir when needed

Tranq/Innervate when needed/called for

What's the one misconception about your class that upsets you the most?
Druids have typically always been more of a flavor of the month class but I think when piloted above average they become the most dynamic class in the game because of their immense utility when used properly.

Summary of your raid experience (go as far back as you can):
raided in vanilla and BC. Quit for WOTLK/Cata. Came back end of MoP era and into WOD when I joined Nightstalkers. Ended up quitting everything for school, came back to legion roughly a month and a half ago. Currently have AOTC on main and alt. Searching for a spot on a Mythic roster.

Are you willing to respecc or sit out of a raid if a different class is needed? Always

Are you willing to download a few raid specific addons? I think I have them all but of course

Are you able to be in Discord for raids (Mic and the ability to talk is required)? Yes

Please list your computer's specs. CPU speed, video card, RAM, Wireless/Wired?, Cable/DSL?, and average in-game latency.
CPU: i7 - 4790 K @ 4.20GHz

Graphic Card: Nvidia GTX 1050

RAM: 16 GBs DDR3

50ish latency on avg, 144 FPS

Is your computer in good working order? Any current issues with it? Please make this answer detailed and specific.
Yes, I recently finished adding onto this PC which I got open box from Best Buy. It eventually could use a case/motherbaord upgrade but that's down the road! I currently run a 2monitor set-up (1 @ 144hz and 1 @ 60hz) and I stream on twitch!

Are you easily offended by adult language and conversation? Fuck No

Is there anything else you think we should know?
I know that a couple years back I had to stop raiding because of school. I know this affected progression and I never intended that to happen. I was trying to fulfill two passions at the same time and unfortunately, that was not possible to maintain. I am now graduated and willing to give it my all. I have nothing in the foreseeable future that would prevent me from raiding full time (other than my mother's bday vacation)! I am 100% ready and committed to progress in M Ant and I am hopeful to find an opportunity.

I am still missing some BiS legionaries but am working diligently to acquire them. Other than that, my druid is ready to roll Mythic Ant and my priest is roughly 1-2 weeks away from ready.
