Title: Nightentacle: Frost/UnholyDeath Knight
Post by: Guest on July 04, 2018, 09:18:21 PM
Character's Name: Nightentacle
BTag: Rocky#1496
Character's Level: 110
Class: Death Knight
Usual Spec: Frost/Unholy
Normal Play Time:
During raid time, about 20 hours a week
Age: 20
Previous Guild: Volition
Reason you left previous guild:
The GM decided to go play Overwatch and let the guild die. The raid team fell apart at the end.

Tell us a bit about yourself:
Currently, I am a rising Junior studying finance in the University of Maryland. I enjoyed playing video games competitively throughout my entire life. I am a dedicated player and I am capable of committing massive amount of time and energy to stay competitive in a game if need be. In my last guild, I was the top dps of the raid and a pretty consistent performer.

Are you friends with anyone in Nightstalkers? If so, who and how do you know them?
I am friend with Rustyobra from the previous guild. He was the raid leader. I was the top or second best dps in the raid for most of the time and naturally we became friends through playing and farming together. We even entered the Dungeon Challenge together for college students.

Why do you want to become a member of Nightstalkers?
I have always enjoyed playing WoW and raiding in a competitive guild. After my last guild fell apart, I could not find any good opportunity to do so. I believe Nightstalkers can give me a great experience playing WoW.

Any alts we can contact you on? I don't really play on my Alts.

Our raid times are Tues, Thurs, and Sun from 8:00PM - 12:00AM server. Are you able to make ALL of our raid times, every week?

Do you forsee any issues in the near future with attendance? Vacation? Moving? Etc? No

Please take a moment to outline your rotation/priority. Be thorough and specific: I will be talking about Unholy's rotation since it is the spec I played the most before I stopped raiding. The rotation I will be talking about single and multi-target rotation.

Single target Rotation:
cast Army
keep Plague on the target at all time
cast festering strike until the target has 6+ stacks
cast Apocalypse
cast (summon) gargoyle
cast dark transformation
spam as many death coils as you can
cast festering strikes and scourge strikes and repeat

everything is similar expect you put down Death and Decay and try to burst as many stacks as possible through your scourge strike.

What's the one misconception about your class that upsets you the most?
There isn't one specific misconception regarding dk that upsets me. However, people sometimes do think that dk's don't provide that many utilities to the raid. Even though we do not have immunity like rogue or raid buff like dh, we still have a pull, battle rez, and sometimes a self-dispel.

Summary of your raid experience (go as far back as you can):
Raided back in Vanilla as a kid (played on my brother's and dad's accounts)
Nighthold: 8/10 Mythic
ToS: 5/9 Mythic then guild fell apart

Are you willing to respecc or sit out of a raid if a different class is needed? Yes

Are you willing to download a few raid specific addons? Yes

Are you able to be in Discord for raids (Mic and the ability to talk is required)? Yes

Please list your computer's specs. CPU speed, video card, RAM, Wireless/Wired?, Cable/DSL?, and average in-game latency.
Intel(R)Core(TM)i5-4690 CPU @3.50GHZ
Graphics card: 750ti
Internet: Wired
latency has never been an issue.

Is your computer in good working order? Any current issues with it? Please make this answer detailed and specific.
It is working fine.

Are you easily offended by adult language and conversation? No

Is there anything else you think we should know?
I hope I can get in the guild and contribute to the success of Nightstalkers
