Title: Cokeboyswag: Fury or Arms...I just switched to Fury for BoDWarrior
Post by: Onlinecutie on February 02, 2019, 04:17:44 PM
Character's Name: Cokeboyswag
BTag: Onlinecutie#1954
Character's Level: 120
Class: Warrior
Usual Spec: Fury or Arms...I just switched to Fury for BoD
Normal Play Time:
Afternoons, Evenings, and weekends
Age: 23
Previous Guild: Top Of the Line
Reason you left previous guild:
They oddly raid Wednesdays and Thursdays, and it's hard to make the wednesday raid due to the commute that day (I'm at a different office in the mean time), living in Southern California, if there's a single slowdown on the freeway, I'm late for raid. Don't like putting that annoyance on them.

Tell us a bit about yourself:
I'm 23, just graduated with a Computer Science degree and started my career this past summer. I love playing WoW (I've played for ~13 years now) as well as other video games. I'm very laidback and get along with all groups of people. I do play other games such as Overwatch and Rust. Outside of work and video games, I enjoy cooking, spending time with friends/family who I rarely get to see anymore, being an adult sucks.

Are you friends with anyone in Nightstalkers? If so, who and how do you know them?
Not yet!!

Why do you want to become a member of Nightstalkers?
You seem like a passionate group of people who want to down the most difficult content, but at the same time, have fun. I like that you've been a guild for a realllly long time, which is reassuring to me. During Uldir, I had 3 guilds literally fall apart (They were all new guilds, so very unstable) and it was difficult to find a place to call home. On top of that, you have the perfect raid times for me.

Any alts we can contact you on? Well you have my btag so you should easily see :) I mainly play my warrior

Our raid times are Tues, Thurs, and Sun from 8:00PM - 12:00AM server. Are you able to make ALL of our raid times, every week?
Yes

Do you forsee any issues in the near future with attendance? Vacation? Moving? Etc? Not really, since summer it's been work, commute, and games. I'm a homebody.

Link to a screenshot of your UI (during a raid, mid-fight preferred): https://imgur.com/a/41FBCjO I'm currently on a laptop at my parents house (I'm back home for the weekend) - many addons are not on this laptop. I use DBM, Weakauras, ERT, and details. I can take another screenshot tomorrow night.

Please take a moment to outline your rotation/priority. Be thorough and specific: Ultimately fury warrior relies on Rampage, an ability that does decent damage and enrages us. The fury warrior rotation is ultimately a priority system that attempts to keep you enraged as possible.
A typical opener is going to Recklessness before pull, charge (for bonus rage from recknessless), siegebreaker (15% dmg increase target), rampage (enrages you and does dmg), raging blows, dragon roar, execute if it procs. From there, you want to BT on CD to gain rage/enrage procs, two charge RB, and whirlwind when you have NOTHING left.

What's the one misconception about your class that upsets you the most?
That warriors don't bring any utility. I mean, that is partially true, we can't cheese any mechanics with bubble, IB, Darkness, or DH Netherwalk CD. But we aren't totally a hindrance that the community seems to think we are. We are good damage, we bring Rallying Cry and Battle Shout. Maybe if you're pushing the highest possible key warrior isn't the best choice, but as far as Mythic Raiding goes, everyone needs a warrior.

Summary of your raid experience (go as far back as you can):
Current: BoD: 8/9H, 1/8M with M Gronk 7% wipe

Summary:
I've played this game for ~13 years now, I've done it all, from casual-hardcore raiding. I've gotten CE a few times (SoO and Emerald Nightmare), missed CE a few times as well (Uldir, Nighthold). Mythic raided in most expansions. As far as experience this expansion, I was able to get 7/8M in Uldir, and 7/9H the first week of BoD. I expect CE each tier, and in turn I will perform at a level needed for CE.

Are you willing to respecc or sit out of a raid if a different class is needed? Yes

Are you willing to download a few raid specific addons? Always

Are you able to be in Discord for raids (Mic and the ability to talk is required)? Yes

Please list your computer's specs. CPU speed, video card, RAM, Wireless/Wired?, Cable/DSL?, and average in-game latency.
i7 processor
GTX 1080
16GB RAM
Wired internet, always.
~15MS on Tichondrius, ~40 on Zul'jin

Is your computer in good working order? Any current issues with it? Please make this answer detailed and specific.
Yes, no issues with the computer or my internet.

Are you easily offended by adult language and conversation? Nope

Is there anything else you think we should know?
I do pull some decent numbers, but I think there's more to it than that if you want to be a Mythic raider. Qualities I have:
-99%+ Attendance. You can ask this current guild if I've missed any raids, I haven't.
-Constantly min-maxing my character, always looking to improve
-Know mechanics before we raid. This is my pet peeve, actually. Nothing bothers me more than someone having 0 clue about a fight with all of the resources out there (Fatboss literally makes guides during PTR testing).

Outside of raiding, you can find me doing other activities such as Arena or M+. I don't raidlog :)
